A traditional love poem

Let me be your traditional love poem in this world full of contemporary letters.

I want to love you, like before
Where an eight lined piece, can be more
Despite of the measure it holds
It is where your first true love molds

You'll be counting from your fingers
You'll be feeling where it lingers
You'll be losing words of your own
To follow the pattern and tone

But don't lose the passion and faith
Also learn to follow the blue red blue
Observe love always and less hate
For love isn't selfish it's for me and you

As I look for you in my verses
The more I got these stiches
When I make you one of these pieces
The more I feel the pain in my speeches

For I know that there isn't tomorrow
No books to borrow
No messages to read
No more dinner dates that I need

But hey, let me be your traditional love poem
Let me give you a half made song
When this can be my love-totem;
A reminder that this is a love that will never go wrong

I know this may be a shot to the moon
Yes, I feel that you'll be ending this soon
But let me share you this last time
When I will give you my last rhyme

That if someday you feel that it's about time
To fall in-love and risk another dime
I'm praying for the rest, for you to have the best
For my love is strong by faith and never by flesh

That happiness on my part, is a smile on your art
Is a car that's well parked, is a dog who'd proudly bark

That meeting you is always a pleasure and a wonderful treasure

That if what makes you happy is no longer with me, I would be more glad to let it be

That love isn't always being together on a starry starry night,

Sometimes it's standing alone, in the middle of the sea, in a sinking dead boat, hoping someone could give you a light

It's not always fighting love when you're together, it's making the love even when apart

So let me be your traditional love poem,
Always consistent, persistent, and ready to show them
That my love will survive this fast-paced world
That you will always have my word
