Pick me to be your Lollipop

I remember when I was a little child, for me just to be able to stay in my pre-school classes everyday, my mom would everyday buy me a rainbow colored lollipop which will I actually lick for two straight hours, enough to encourage me to sit on my chair and be in class, physically but mentally thinking of what I would eat later that day, after my sweet escape. It was the same routine everyday, I'd cry on our way to school and I know, and when we reach the end of the street, at aling lusing sari-sari store, I know it, I'm sure of it, there is a jar of lollipop waiting for me.

Well me, I'm more than willing to be your lollipop for you to stay everyday. I promise I will always be enough, taking up your everyday, I don't assure you everyday to be smiles all the way, but I'd be there every step of the way, and there is no way that you'd be in tears alone anyway for I'm here to be your lollipop. you do not have to cry to have me, that is the difference, you will always have me before, during and right after you cry. I'd be there.

I'll encourage you best to physically stay everyday, even despite of the fact that you only had to keep me because of my sweetness, and I don't care If you ever think of other lollipops while having me and being mentally absent isn't a problem, well I'd take your physical reality into different heights, larger depths and conquering peeks on where even your greatest imaginations won't reach us, and I promise to protect you everyday, If you just choose me.

I know, I've been telling you that I won't get into competitions for you, but I cannot afford to lose you again, in this lifetime. And I know that everyday, there is a jar maybe a basket perhaps, okay, a factory of lollipops waiting for you to pick them up and choose their sweetness but please, If you ever recognize me, choose me.

 I know that we all are made to be licked by the way, but me I was carved by the shape of your tongue by the viscosity of your saliva and the hardness of your teeth to be gently firm and enough to give you that contentment everyday, I was made for you. I am ready for you, for your love, pick me.

And I know finding your escape plan with lollipops everyday can give you toothaches, tonsillitis, and diabetes perhaps but risking, will always be better with me, I'd be sweet enough when you need me, blank and sour when you don't and waiting for your excitement to open me again, so please If you ever ever risk yourself of these things, risk it with me, cause I Promise, I will always the your sweetest escape, but everyday I will leave you path for you to go home safely everyday, to go back, again.
So you don't drown and over do yourself.

And I assure you, no heartaches, no suicide notes, no dull moments, no reason to go away from me, I'll leave you a spectrum of colors even black, cause you need it, to identify the pigment of anything and everything, so please, I'll give you a prism of colors to choose from upon choosing me. And I promise your life will never be so plain with me again because you're my white light you contain all the colors and I'd be happy to be with you, paint me, paint my love.

And everyday, I will love you just how I love my mom, everlasting with trust that despite all my shortcomings she will always stay, ready to give me enough reasons to stay and letting me know that staying is for the strong, and I know that this never felt so wrong, and like how my love stood this long for her, I will do the same. For a girl, who makes a man's heart raise, deserves a happy and another beautiful extending race.
